7artisans recently published a new fisheye lens: 10mm F2.8. Let's see the Performance of it. 

7artisans 10mm F2.8 is a full-frame fisheye lens with a 178° angle of view. It provides 4 types of mounts: Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, and L. The official retial price is $256.

The first impression left by this lens is heavy. It weighs about 570g, which is close to twice the weight of the original Canon EF 15/2.8 Fisheye (about 330g). As long as you can accept this weight, coupled with the operation method of manual focus and manual aperture (it is easy to accidentally touch the aperture at the beginning), this lens can still bring us different pictures in street photography, architecture, starry sky and other subjects. 

In terms of imaging, the most impressive performance of 7artisans 10/2.8 Fisheye is the astral performance. There are some starbursts when the aperture is fully opened, and it becomes more obvious when the aperture is slightly closed.

Since you want to shoot the stars, you have to face the spotlights. Although 7artisans did not emphasize the coating technology, the anti-glare performance in actual shooting far exceeded expectations. No obvious coma and glare were found when shooting under artificial light sources.

Although it is a fisheye lens, if you make good use of the 0.17m closest focusing distance, you can still shoot some shallow depth of field pictures. Therefore, I also remind everyone to try to use zoom in focus to check the focus position, peak focus is more used to judge the depth of field.

Finally, I suggest you guys try your best to consider native mount lenses. Ultra-wide-angle and fisheye lens, the accuracy of the adapter ring directly affects the infinity focus accuracy and whether the imaging around the screen can be consistent.
